Acting sustainably is an important part of our formula for success. We always try to reconcile economy, ecology and social responsibility.
Use of raw materials.
Making raw materials reusable via recycling is becoming increasingly important, as raw materials become scarcer. Recycling is an integral part of our well-established sustainability strategy. It is our aim to keep waste to a minimum and to feed waste material into material recycling loops. Waste eggshells that result from the production of our egg products are fully composted and can be used as fertiliser.
Organic products.
For the products of our extensive product range, we use the best eggs from all animal-friendly production systems. In particular, we also process eggs from organic production systems. For the production of our organic egg products, we naturally use eggs from certified organic farms. These eggs are from hens that are kept in animal-friendly free-range conditions in a natural environment and that are fed exclusively with organic feed.
Fleet Management.
Our vehicles are equipped with low-emission engine technology, enabling environmentally friendly and economical transport. With the help of a computer-aided dispatching system, we ensure a highly efficient utilisation of our vehicles and avoid empty runs.
